Tasting note

Golden, with some green notes, this limited-production Cava, a blend of the first pressing of estate-grown Macabeo and Parellada, displays depth and lovely balance. Intense aromas of pear, citrus and toasted butter pastry entice. Dry, bright and fresh, it has a refined creamy mousse and a lively, crisp texture. Rich flavours of Bosc pear and lemon-lime wash across the palate and linger on the clean, persistent finish. A sparkling wine that is a bit heavy with mineral, slate and iodine aromas along with citrus rind and yeast. It has a very long and complex finish.

DO Cava, 67% Macabeo, 33% Parellada, the very best from each vintage is used. Aged in the bottle for more than 30 months. Straw yellow in colour with a small, fine plentiful mousse. Hints of honey, white fruit and flower petals.
