Tasting note

There is not much semillon attempted in Canada because the market is not much aware of this variety. This is an intriguing example with a maturing, complex nose of mushroom, persimmon, tangerine, ginger and petrol, baked in a lemon meringue pie. It's medium-full, fleshy, open yet sour edged. Quite exotic with spearmint/pine on the finish. Great length and extension and focus. Score - 91. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, June 2012)
