Tasting note

This very impressive blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and cabernet franc comes from one of the best vintages in the last 10 years. It's just starting to show a little age, with mature notes creeping in to the edge of the flavour profile, but it retains its concentration and complexity and the texture is quite dense and nuanced from fermentation in oak and tank followed by 20 months aging in French oak (60% new, 40% one-use). It's characterized by very good balance among all the components. There's little grip left in the tannins, and it's for drinking now and soon if you want to minimize the mature flavours.
