Tasting note

A wine that dances the line between extraction and restraint. There is lots of intense blueberry, blackberry and black cherry on the nose along with plenty of oak but there is another side to the wine showing in savoury earth and floral lavender notes giving an intriguing wine. The palate has more black fruit and is full bodied but shows complexity with pepper, dried sage and some graphite/mineral notes with a long finish.
