Tasting note

Medium ruby colour with a pale pink rim; aromas of black cherry, currant, earth, and smoked meat; dry, light-medium bodied with crisp acidity, light tannins and flavours of green herbs, blackberries and blueberries.

Under the purplish red colour, the nose is intense and simple. Enjoy this dry, medium-bodied and fruity red featuring refreshing acidity. On the palate, it showcases smooth tannins and a slender mouthfeel that leads into a medium finish.

Our Gamay Noir Zweigelt wine is full-bodied, firm and tannic with boysenberry and black currant flavours. Oak barrel aging mellows the wine, allowing it to be enjoyed now or cellared to enhance its qualities. This wine is an excellent companion to red meats and game without sauces.
