Tasting note
The 2009 Cabernet Merlot offers a deep garnet-purple color and pronounced aromas of cedar, tree bark, cracked black pepper and mulberries over warm blackberries and a faint whiff of dusty earth. Very crisp on the palate, it has plenty of pepper and blackberry flavor and a long finish. Drinking well now, it should evolve and keep to 2019+. Score - 92. Under the ruby colour, the nose is medium and complex. Enjoy this dry, medium-bodied and fruity red featuring refreshing acidity. On the palate, it showcases fleshy tannins and a broad mouthfeel that leads into a medium finish.
