Tasting note

Amarone is made using an ancient method of air-drying grapes. The wines are intense, rich and Port-like, but dry. This has cherry, dried fruit, fig and pressed-violet aromas. Superb with roasted meats like lamb, or more exotic dishes such as beef vindaloo.

This dry garnet coloured wine features intense balsamic, woody, empyreumatic, spicy and fruity scents and offers a broad texture as well as fleshy tannins.
