Tasting note

A full-bodied juicy Italian red wine with lots of heft and mouth-filling flavour. Dark cherry and black plum, almost prune on the nose ... Good value. This is one of the best producers of ripasso. A red wine blend of 30% Corvina, 30% Corvinone, 30% Rondinella and small amounts of Rossignola, Oseleta, Negrara and Dindarella grapes featuring aromas of coffee and black cherry. Wonderful dry finish for a wide range of dishes, especially hearty meat ones. Pair with: hamburger, hearty soups, pasta, Mediterranean cuisine, white or red meats. Drink: 2014-2020. Score - 90. Under the ruby colour, the nose is medium and complex. Enjoy this dry, medium-bodied and spicy red featuring refreshing acidity. On the palate, it showcases fleshy tannins and a broad mouthfeel that leads into a medium finish.
