Tasting note
Medium ruby with a purple hue; the nose promises dark berry, plum, smoke and pepper; the palate is dry, well balanced, with flavours that deliver exactly what the nose promise; a long and lingering finish.
This dry, full-bodied and woody red displays a complex and intense nose. On the palate, its refreshing acidity, fleshy tannins, and broad texture precede a long finish.
Full red fruit flavour, soft tannins and a smoky, leathery finish.
The high percentage of Syrah in the blend leads to the spicy, aromatic nose of The Wolftrap, supported by perfume from the Viognier. The Cinsault offers juicy fruit on the palate and the Mourvedre adds structure and weight.
Intense red colour with a purple rim. A spicy profile with ripe black fruit and violets. Smooth and rich on the palate with soft tannins, good density and a hint of oak. A well balanced, unpretentious wine made for easy drinking.
Made from a trio of Syrah, Mourvedre and Viognier, this red blend has characteristics of blackberry and pepper notes. Medium-bodied on the palate, the soft tannins suggest this easy drinking wine is good with grilled fare.
