Tasting note
The Arele is named for the traditional wooden trays that were used to partially dry grapes selected to make appassimento wines. This 2012 vintage suggests aromas of red berry, anise, ripe cherry and spice. Juicy and approachable, with excellent concentration and soft tannins. Lovely spice notes interwoven with the black fruit. (VINTAGES panel, May 2014)
This dry ruby coloured wine features medium spicy, fruity and vegetal scents and offers a broad texture as well as fleshy tannins.
Intense color, deep ruby red Fragrance:Very fruity, rich, spicy, black pepper nose. Full body, very intense, spicy, smooth, full of flavors Recommended with: White and red meats, game, fresh and aged cheeses. Serving Temperature 18° C.
Made of Corvina, Oseleta and Rondinella, this wine shows flavours of crushed black raspberry, black cherry, plum compote, dried herbs and mulling spice. It is full-bodied, juicy, spicy with a rich creamy palate and a long, refined finish.
