Tasting note

Barrel-fermented, this nonetheless offers clean, crisp flavors of pear and pineapple on the palate. The fruit lingers through a medium-sized body that picks up steam on the finish, delving into richer notes of fig and lemon curd. The fruit is 100% estate. Score - 89. Deliciously crafted, mixing tropical fruits with citrus and melon/mineral notes and almost no perceptible oak. Serve with roasted chicken stuffed with lemons, or pasta and mushrooms or here in BC with fresh Carmelis goat cheese. Gismondi 90 points
