Note de dégustation

La finition en fûts de porto donne à ce whisky une robe cuivre antique aux nuances vermeil. Très généreux au nez, avec des notes de chocolat, d'orange, de caramel anglais, de vanille et de compote de fruits. La bouche équilibrée et réservée est douce, ronde et visqueuse, et agrémentée d'une note sous-jacente de saumure.

A caress of silk velvet on the tongue gives way to a swathe of rich, dark chocolate-enrobed walnuts leaving in their wake the lemony-rose jelly texture of Turkish delight. Then sugar-coated crystallised orange segments emerge, countered by crisp mint chocolate, adding a chiffon like texture

Dark mint chocolate, tangerines and Seville oranges mingle with sandalwood and walnut before giving way to a spicy finish of pepper and nutmeg.On the palate, mint chocolate and walnuts envelop the palate like velvet, laying the foundations for rose, Turkish delight and sweet Seville oranges.The finish is long lasting silky aftertaste leaving dark chocolate mints and traces of orange.
