Les superbes arômes de boîte à épices, de café noir et de truffe mènent à une bouche légère gorgée de saveurs de groseille rouge à grappes et de cassis agrémentées de notes de fines herbes. Les tanins se font bien entendre sur la finale de caractère sec. Passez-le en carafe au moins trois heures avant de le servir avec la pizza à la viande ou les pâtes en sauce tomate. The colour is an intense ruby red with faintly garnet tones. The initial aromatic sensations are sweetish and vanilla-like, typical of wines matured in barriques. The clean, ethereal bouquet then highlights Sangiovese's spicy notes. On the palate we find again very well-integrated oak which soon gives way to hints of wild berries and fruit preserve and to that nuance of spices perceived in the nose.

*Available at the Vancouver Wine Festival Store* Brightly hued, intensely scented, underscored with a hint of vanilla and a characteristic note of hazelnut. Its taste is full and rotund and lingers in your mouth. This Sangiovese wine has rich nuances of wild berries, spices and well-integrated oak. Try with peppery grilled steak or meat topped pizza.
