Robe pourpre d'encre; notes de mûre, de prune, d'anis et d'eucalyptus; corsé; bouche veloutée de fruits noirs et de fève de cacao menant à une finale moelleuse et modérément épicée aux tanins doux.

Bright black fruits on the nose with a subtle spice component. The palate is rich with firm savoury tannins and a long, generous finish. Barbecued eye fillet, served with panseared mushrooms, green beans and creamy potato mash.

The wine is bright crimson in colour and medium bodied, with vibrant flavours of red berries, subtle herbal character and an overall savoury quality to the finish which is a perfect match for food. Lifted, fragrant aromatics of raspberry, plum and chocolate lead to a palate that is quite powerful, yet soft and fresh.
