La vinificatrice Jen Beloz a perfectionné ses compétences en travaillant pendant dix ans aux côtés de Joel Peterson, spécialiste du zinfandel chez Ravenswood. Son talent brille dans cet assemblage de zinfandel qui rappelle les vins de complantation des premiers immigrants italiens qui se sont installés dans la Napa. Impressionnants arômes de bleuet, de boîte à épices et de fumée. Ce vin mûr et souple est prodigieusement robuste et charnu. On voit tout de suite pourquoi le Prisoner novateur a donné lieu à tant d'imitations. Il fera de délicieuses harmonies avec la bavette au romarin et à l'ail. (Comité VINTAGES, janv. 2016)

92 Points from Wine Advocate. This is a robust blend from California with immense aromas of cedar, blackberry, cherry and dried floral notes that fill the glass. Black currant, ripe fig, savoury spice and sweet oak flavours lead you to the well-balanced finish boasting soft, integrated tannins.
